Kate Moretti is a writer and editor, and the author of the bestselling novel, The Last Year. She was born in Luxembourg and lived in California until moving to New York City in 2006. Prior to writing The Last Year, she worked in publishing and marketing in Manhattan. Kate has a B.A
in English from Middlebury College and an M.F.A. in fiction from Columbia University's MFA Program for Writers & Translators.
